NORRED Project Controls
How It Works
A structured process that reduces meetings, uncontrolled email, and unclear scope.
NORRED is remote-first and asynchronous by default. The client provides the business context and authorized project information. NORRED converts that information into a defined solution, controlled workflow, and management-ready output.
1. Choose the problem path
The intake begins with one of four paths:
- Assess: identify control gaps with the 25-point framework
- Build: configure a project-controls system or reporting solution
- Run: have NORRED maintain the agreed controls and reporting on a recurring basis
- Expand: add specialized contract, document, change, PMO, contractor, or government-control modules
2. Complete the structured intake
The form collects the organization, project count, current systems, data condition, missing controls, reporting needs, submission volume, deadline, and budget range. The prospect does not need to schedule a long introductory call just to explain the basics.
3. Provide representative sample information securely
When a deeper review is required, NORRED provides approved instructions for sample files. The sample-data review helps determine:
- Data quality and completeness
- Required cleanup and migration
- Likely processing volume
- Best-fit product or service level
- Feasible reporting cadence and turnaround
Highly sensitive information should not be submitted through the public website form or ordinary email.
4. Receive the written scope
Before paid service work begins, the client receives a written proposal showing:
- Exact deliverables and reporting cadence
- Projects, control modules, and data-volume limits
- Client and NORRED responsibilities
- Final fee and payment schedule
- Timeline, assumptions, exclusions, and change-control rules
5. Complete controlled onboarding
After acceptance, NORRED establishes the agreed intake method, source template, reporting schedule and responsibilities. The selected monthly plan has a one-time startup/setup fee: Snapshot $49, Plus $99, Weekly $149. It is collected with the first monthly payment: $348 / $698 / $1,148 initially before applicable taxes, then $299 / $599 / $999 monthly only. Setup covers standard template configuration, reporting definitions and the submission calendar. Historical cleanup, integrations and custom builds are separately quoted. A formal 25-point baseline or escalation service is included only when stated in the accepted scope.
6. Submit information through the approved workflow
Field and project teams may submit information throughout the day, but normal work is processed in scheduled cycles rather than creating constant inbox interruptions. The client receives immediate submission confirmation when supported by the selected workflow.
- Items received before the agreed cutoff enter the applicable processing cycle.
- Noncritical items received after cutoff move to the next cycle.
- Missing information is consolidated into an organized request.
- Critical exceptions are escalated only when they meet the agreed threshold.
7. Human-reviewed production and delivery
Automation and AI may assist with classification, extraction, register updates, missing-data checks, trend identification, and draft reporting. A qualified human reviews material work products before delivery.
Deliverables follow the selected monthly plan: KPI summary and priorities, agreed register updates, or weekly exceptions and a monthly dashboard/report. Daily digests, alerts and quarterly reassessments are included only when separately stated in the accepted scope.
8. Improve the control environment
NORRED reports agreed priorities and unresolved exceptions. Formal quarterly reassessment and broader improvement work can be added under a separate accepted scope.
Communication policy
The normal model is asynchronous by default and meetings by exception. Included meetings, response standards, and escalation methods are stated in the accepted scope. Additional meetings, expedited work, and out-of-scope requests may require added fees.
Review the Managed Service Standards
Begin with structured information.
The intake is designed to collect enough context to identify the likely solution without forcing the prospect into a long preliminary meeting.
